VET & FARRIER DETAILS

VET: For the safety and continuous care of all the horses entering, living on, and leaving the property, we do require routine vet care to be performed by Cumberland Equine Services on a quarterly schedule. We meet the vet every three months and assess the health and wellness of every horse on the property while holding them for routine vet care.  Boarders will be billed directly by Cumberland. We highly recommend and prefer Thomasville Animal Hospital for all other equine veterinary needs that cannot be attended to on-site by Cumberland.

FARRIER: Cody Smith, Justin Morgan, and Casey Bregg, are currently the farriers for all the horses on the farm. Boarders are welcome to use any other farrier if they choose but must make arrangements for those appointments. Boarders pay the farrier directly.

MASSAGE THERAPY, CHIROPRACTOR, DENTAL CARE, ETC.

We regularly schedule with local and regional professionals for other equine services such as massage therapy, chiropractic adjustments, dental work, etc. Boarders are welcome to use any of these professionals or schedule with others, as long as they communicate with us about who is coming to work on which horses, when they are coming, and making sure they are paid on time.
